Development

Breath of Fire was originally produced by Tokuro Fujiwara in 1993. Fujiwara produced the first two Breath of Fire games and some other Capcom Related games until he left in 1996. The project was handed down to series writer and director Makoto Ikehara and the character designer Tatsuya Yoshikawa when Breath of Fire 3 was released. In 2005, Fujiwara returned to Capcom.
